Accessibility Statement
The Technion Micro-Nano Fabrication Unit (MNFU) is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. We see accessibility as an ongoing process, and we review and improve the site regularly.
Accessibility standard
This website aims to meet Israeli Standard IS 5568 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) at Level AA, as required by the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to Services) Regulations, 2013. IS 5568 is based on the international WCAG guidelines published by the W3C.
What we have done
• An accessibility menu (top corner of every page) to enlarge text, change contrast, switch to a readable font, highlight links and pause the slider.
• Full keyboard navigation, including a “skip to content” link.
• Support for screen readers, with text alternatives for images and a clear heading structure.
• Color contrast that meets Level AA for text and controls.
• Text that can be enlarged with the browser zoom without breaking the layout.
• Support for current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge, on desktop and mobile.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible: older PDF documents and archived pages, the interactive 3D facility tour, and external websites we link to (such as faculty pages and the Nanorob booking system), which are not managed by the MNFU. If you need information from any of these in an accessible format, please contact us and we will provide it.

היחידה למיקרו וננו־פבריקציה בטכניון (MNFU) מחויבת לכך שאתר זה יהיה נגיש לכלל המשתמשים, כולל אנשים עם מוגבלות. אנו רואים בנגישות תהליך מתמשך, ובודקים ומשפרים את האתר באופן שוטף.
רמת הנגישות
האתר שואף לעמוד בדרישות תקן ישראלי ת״י 5568 (קווים מנחים לנגישות תכנים באינטרנט) ברמה AA, בהתאם לתקנות שוויון זכויות לאנשים עם מוגבלות (התאמות נגישות לשירות), התשע״ג–2013. התקן מבוסס על הנחיות WCAG הבינלאומיות של ארגון W3C.
מה עשינו
• תפריט נגישות בכל עמוד: הגדלת טקסט, שינוי ניגודיות, גופן קריא, הדגשת קישורים ועצירת הסליידר.
• ניווט מלא באמצעות המקלדת, כולל קישור ״דלג לתוכן״.
• תמיכה בקוראי מסך: טקסט חלופי לתמונות ומבנה כותרות ברור.
• ניגודיות צבעים ברמה AA לטקסט ולרכיבים.
• תמיכה בגרסאות העדכניות של הדפדפנים הנפוצים, במחשב ובנייד.
מגבלות ידועות
ייתכן שחלקים מסוימים עדיין אינם נגישים במלואם: מסמכי PDF ישנים ועמודי ארכיון, הסיור התלת־ממדי במתקן, ואתרים חיצוניים שאליהם אנו מקשרים (כגון אתרי חברי סגל ומערכת ההזמנות Nanorob), שאינם בניהול היחידה. אם אתם זקוקים למידע מהם בפורמט נגיש, פנו אלינו ונספק אותו.
